Product Overview

Each suit is built as a performable walking costume, not a static prop unless you choose the standing display version. The head has a large interior space and a lightweight foam core; the body is shaped for movement; the overall form stays full and keeps its silhouette. Buyers can order corporate mascots, cartoon or anime characters, event characters and fursuit-style suits. Outer surfaces are selected from crystal super-soft, super-soft and long-plush fleece. Soles are anti-slip, and optional cooling accessories can be added.

Custom Mascot Costume Styles: Which Suits Your Event

• Onesuit / jumpsuit style: three-layer body with soft fabric, thin cotton and lining; head and body are separate. Best for stage performances with large movements; cost-effective and easy to walk in.
• Inner-core head-body separate style: head and body are shaped models. Strong three-dimensional look, flexible hands and feet, easy walking. Best for expo and exhibition interaction.
• Head-body integrated style: head and belly are integrated for high flexibility. Good for walking leaflet distribution and bottle/can commercial character shapes.
• Padded-tummy style: head and body separate; the body is a lightly filled jumpsuit with a slightly rounded look. Use when a mildly chubby character silhouette is required.
• Dress style: separate head with a dress body; a sponge layer keeps the skirt standing. Works for girl characters, ancient-style characters and goddess/fairy designs.
• Top-bottom separate style: top and trousers are separate, making it easy to wear. A practical choice for summer events.
• Standing display prop style: no performer needed; an internal frame keeps the mascot upright. Place it on stages, in stores, lobbies or event venues.
• Inflatable style: head and belly integrated with high flexibility.
• Sculpted foam style: overall foam shaping or full foam carving; easy to wear, flexible, and can squeeze and rebound.

Sizes & Fit

Common head diameters are 50-60 cm, 60-70 cm and 70-80 cm. The standard one-size suit is made for wearers about 1.65-1.8 m tall; once worn, total mascot height is about 2 m. Sizes can be made to the actual wearer’s height. The common reference is a 170-175 cm performer: shorter performers may need trousers rolled, while taller performers should provide exact measurements for a custom fit.

Materials, Ventilation & Comfort

• Outer fabric: crystal super-soft, super-soft or long-plush fleece. These are soft, thick, warm and smooth, with strong pile and a bright appearance.
• Head inner core: EVA foam, with some models using EPE pearl cotton or imported sponge. EVA foam is lightweight, breathable, shape-keeping, eco-friendly and odor-free.
• Body padding: cotton-filled jumpsuit or sponge/EPE pearl cotton shaping with soft lining.
• Soles: anti-slip and wear-resistant.
• Cooling: optional air-circulation fan in the head increases airflow; an optional ice-pack cooling accessory is available for summer use.
• Visibility and weight: the head interior is spacious, and the pattern maker cuts sight openings at the eyes or mouth. The lightweight core reduces pressure during walking and performance.

Custom Design & Crafting Process

Provide front, side and back images plus production notes and process requirements. The factory uses computer pattern-making, 3D computer carving, high-end foam carving and hand sewing. The basic production flow is: carve the overall shape → select fabric → wrap and confirm decoration → pack and ship. For each order we confirm the inner-core outline, color, process style, wearer height and head size. Finished-product photos are sent for confirmation before shipping. Fursuit-style mascots can also be produced. Our pattern makers have 10+ years of mascot head pattern experience and check sight lines on every custom head.

Color Matching & Similarity Notes

Fabric color is matched as closely as possible to your supplied image. To improve color similarity, provide fabric names or PANTONE codes; free fabric swatches are available for confirmation before production. Because these are hand-made custom items, we do not guarantee 100% identical reproduction. Provide multi-angle, detailed reference images for the best likeness.

Care & Lifespan

The head core is made of EVA or EPE pearl cotton, so it keeps its shape and withstands pressure. Clean the head’s outer fleece with a small soft brush, a little water and mild detergent; spot clean and air dry. The body, gloves and shoes can be washed like normal clothing or dry cleaned. After use, clean the suit, keep it dry and store it in a box to protect it from dust and moisture. Normal service life is generally around 2-3 years; with careful use, some sources note 3-5 years.

Each order is custom-made to your artwork, and pricing is negotiated based on design complexity; listed prices are reference only and do not include shipping. Direct orders without a confirmed custom quote are not shipped. Custom products are made exclusively for the buyer and are non-returnable and non-refundable. After a design is confirmed, major changes such as shape or dimensions cannot be accepted; modifications can only be based on the images and requirements previously provided.
