Custom Workwear Manufacturer for Teams, Sites & Kitchens
Yichico is a custom workwear manufacturer producing branded uniforms for factories, workshops, restaurants, supermarkets, car-service shops, construction crews, hotels and event teams. You choose the style, send us your LOGO or artwork, and we return a free one-on-one effect preview before anything is cut or printed. One-piece MOQ, samples in 1-3 days, production in 2-10 days, and print plus embroidery handled under one roof — so a 3-person café team and a 3,000-piece plant rollout go through the same workflow.
Choosing Workwear by the Job
The fastest way to narrow the range is to start from where the garment will be worn, not from the catalogue.
Everyday indoor and outdoor crews — 100% cotton tees. Heavyweight ~220–260 g cotton, with a combed long-staple option (21s Xinjiang combed cotton). Strong fabric, low pilling, colourfast and minimal shrinkage in the maker’s specification. Sizes run from S up to 5XL–7XL depending on style, in many colours. This is the workhorse for warehouse teams, loading crews, event staff, class and club uniforms, charity events and fan wear.
Front-of-house, service and office-facing roles — cool-touch functional polo shirts. The ice-touch cotton line uses a breathable cool-feel fabric at roughly 210 g / 40s combed, with up to about 19 colours per style, sizes S–6XL (extended sizes to 8XL on request) and a tailored medium-stretch fit. Some styles carry an antibacterial finish. Best for cafés and tea shops, hotel F&B teams, supermarket floor staff, car-service and 4S reception, tourism groups and corporate events.
Workshops, plants and outdoor sites — collar work jackets and reflective workwear. Collar jackets use polyester or blended shells in a wide colour range — white, black, navy, royal blue, red, dark green, military green, light grey, burgundy, light blue — with press-stud or zip plackets, typically XL–4XL and extended sizes on request. Moisture-managing ice-spun cotton and textured-weave options are available. One jacket line includes antistatic-styled and antibacterial-marketed options, which suit electronics assembly and workshop environments. For night and roadside work, reflective workwear is built as two-tone top and bottom sets with reflective stripes that reflect surrounding light for safer night work — road survey, construction, night logistics, parking and site security.
Retail, food markets and events — multi-pocket utility vests. 100% polyester at about 180 g, unisex, adult sizes XL–4XL with a height/weight reference chart (roughly 160–190 cm, 80–180 jin) plus children’s sizes. Multiple pockets including flap pockets and security zip pockets, with YKK-zipper options. Built for supermarkets, fresh retail, food markets, exhibitions, event crews and photography teams.
Kitchens and food service — chefwear and aprons. Chef jackets in combed long-staple cotton with a dense double-twist weave, sizes XS–5XL. Aprons in half, long and neck styles, in black, white and khaki — durable and washable for daily kitchen rotation.
Fabric and Durability Markers That Matter for Uniforms
Uniforms rarely fail because of the print. They fail at the seams, the collar and the placket — the three places that take the most punishment. When you compare quotes, compare these markers instead of price per piece alone.
Fabric choice. Heavyweight cotton (220–260 g) gives structure and holds shape over repeated industrial washing, which is why it dominates tees for plant and warehouse teams. Polyester and blended shells resist abrasion and dry faster, which suits jackets for outdoor and workshop use. Cool-touch and moisture-managing fabrics are the right answer for staff who are moving in warm indoor environments or standing at a counter all day.
Construction. Look for double-needle four-thread seams at high-stress joins, roughly 14 stitches per inch, and bar-tacking at stress points such as pocket corners and placket ends. Ribbed collars that keep their shape after washing, heat-pressed collar bonding, quality resin buttons and metal or YKK zippers all extend service life — and they are the difference between a uniform that survives a season and one that survives three.
Colour and wash performance. On tested lines the factory reports no formaldehyde and no banned azo dyes, with colourfastness class B or better under the Chinese national safety class B standard (GB 18401-2010, first-quality grade). We describe this as factory-standard quality control rather than as a third-party export certificate, and we are happy to discuss what documentation is available for your specific order. A three-stage QC process with a high factory pass rate and random-inspection standard applies across the lines.

Decoration Options: Print vs Embroidery vs Sublimation
We offer screen printing, heat-transfer printing, digital printing, high-density multi-needle embroidery and sublimation heat-print. Placement is normally chest, back or sleeve, and is confirmed at order.
Embroidery is the default for corporate and site uniforms. It is durable, does not wash off, and gives a raised, premium finish that reads well on polos, jackets, vests and chefwear. It suits left-chest logos, names and small emblems, and works on almost any colour because the thread carries the colour.
Screen printing is cost-efficient for larger graphics and bold flat colours, and is the usual choice for back prints on tees and event wear. Heat-transfer and digital printing handle full-colour or photographic artwork and short runs without setup penalties. Sublimation heat-print is used where artwork needs to fade into the fabric without a hand feel.
As a rule: small logo, textured fabric or a formal look — embroidery. Large graphic, flat colour, high volume — screen print. Full-colour artwork or a small batch — digital or heat-transfer. Send us the artwork and we will recommend the method and show you the effect before production; the preview is free and we redesign until you are satisfied.
Sizing for Teams
Workwear is cut one size larger than fashion wear. If your team normally wears L in a retail T-shirt, order M in the uniform — or better, size by body measurement against the chart rather than by habit. The chest and shoulder measurements are the two that matter most; for jackets and vests, add room for the layer that will be worn underneath.
Most lines cover S–6XL or S–7XL, and extended sizes up to 8XL are available on request. Garments are hand-measured flat, so a tolerance of about 1-3 cm is normal and should be expected. For mixed-size teams, send a simple size breakdown (role, quantity, size) and we will map it against the chart for you.
